Our Approach
At Bridgers Association we deploy an integrated, participatory; holistic and inclusive approach with our beneficiaries actively involved at every stage of projects cycles; from problem identification, project formation/programming, execution, monitoring and evaluation. With very little resources, Bridgers through her approach is able to bring desirable impact in these communities.
We strive therefore to respect the culture and customs of the people we serve in order to preserve their Humanity and Dignity.
How is our approach integrated?
The 10 programs of Bridgers cut across our goal of seeing women and girls thrive. These programs are inter-related though independent of each other. A single project within a particular program integrates aspects of other programs to bring about the desired change.
How is our approach holistic?
At Bridgers, we believe that meaningful change can only be achieved through integrated participatory actions. In this way, a couple of community and beneficiary needs are tackled simultaneously to create a relatively satisfactory/greater impact. All these actions are focused on achieving Bridgers vision of a level ground where all women and girls are given equal access to resources to enable them realize their full potentials; their backgrounds; political affiliations; tribe or language notwithstanding.
How is our approach inclusive?
We have put in place a dynamic and cross generational team made of people from varied walks of life; ages; backgrounds/cultures and nationalities. Such a team has been so vital in implementing our projects satisfactorily given that ideas; strategies and techniques contributed cuts across different generations and cultural diversities reflected in our Cameroonian society. We do not minimize any ideas or contributions; rather we practice inclusive diversity for the general good of our beneficiaries and our team members as well.
