Funded by the High Commission of Canada to Cameroon, and implemented by Bridgers Association Cameroon, this project is aimed at economically empowering internally displaced women/girls in Bamenda.
The project consist of organizing training workshops on income generating activities, donation of tools and equipment (material items) relating to these income generating activities, provision of seed capital (financial donation), psycho-social support workshops on trauma healing.
This project falls within the 2019 project and financial year of the Government of Canada. The Bridgers team is currently implementing the project in Bamenda chief town of the North West Region of Cameroon. Our project counters gender based violence against women and girls amidst the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon which has seen many persons displaced from their villages in both North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
